Who we are
Restaurant Finance Network is a division of Alternative Finance Network, a commercial loan brokerage founded by Scott Jordan and based in the Denver area. We built Restaurant Finance Network for one kind of client: restaurant, bar and hospitality owners in Colorado and Tennessee who need financing, especially operators who have proven a concept and are ready to open the next location.
We are a broker, not a lender. We do not make loans ourselves. We help you understand your options, package your file, and place it with banks, credit unions and private lenders whose programs fit what you are trying to do. Every financing decision is made by the lender. See our broker disclosure.
Scott Jordan
Scott Jordan has worked as a commercial loan broker since 2009. Over that time he has helped business owners find financing across many industries, including complex and regulated ones where traditional banks are often cautious. [CONFIRM WITH SCOTT: bio details, industries served, notable deal types he is comfortable describing publicly, and whether to mention prior work in regulated industries]
His approach is simple: understand the business first, then find the lenders that fit. That often means telling an owner the truth they do not want to hear, such as waiting a few months before applying, paying down an expensive advance first, or choosing a slower and cheaper loan over a fast and expensive one.

Why a restaurant-focused brokerage
Restaurants and bars are some of the hardest businesses to finance well. Margins are thin, revenue swings with seasons and events, many banks are cautious about hospitality, and short-term advances are marketed aggressively to owners who need cash fast. The result is that many good operators end up with the wrong financing, or none at all.
A broker who focuses on hospitality knows which lenders are actively funding restaurants and bars right now, what they need to see, and how to present a restaurant file so it gets a fair look. That is what we do.
Why Colorado and Tennessee
We start with two states so we can be specific about local markets, licensing and lenders. Colorado is home: we know the dual state and local liquor licensing process, the seasonality of ski and tourism markets, and the growth of Front Range suburbs. Tennessee brings Nashville’s and Memphis’s hospitality economies, fast-growing Middle Tennessee suburbs, and a strong whiskey and craft beverage scene. See our Colorado and Tennessee pages.
How we work
- One application, many lenders. You apply once; we approach the lenders that fit.
- Bank statements first. Three months of statements tell us quickly what is realistic, so you do not waste time on long applications that go nowhere.
- Plain-language offers. We lay out every offer with its total cost, payment and terms side by side.
- No pressure. Checking your options does not obligate you to anything.
- Privacy. We do not collect SSNs on our website, and statements are stored privately, never emailed around. See our privacy policy.
